These Terms of Service govern your use of streamslop.io and its games, account features, and related services (the “Service”), provided by Stream Slop (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Massachusetts, United States. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required by the laws where you live or by your sign-in provider. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, you must have a parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service, and they should review these terms with you.
You may use the Service only if you can lawfully agree to these terms, with a parent or guardian where required, and are not prohibited from using it by applicable law.
2. Accounts and access
You may sign in using an available third-party provider. Some lobbies allow guests; others require an account. Provide accurate information, use only accounts and channels you are authorized to control, and protect your provider account, session, and private invitation links.
Each sign-in provider creates a separate Stream Slop account. Accounts with the same name or email are not automatically linked. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact admin@streamslop.io if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access.
Hosts can set lobby access rules and control participation. A place in a lobby, a unit, a ranking, or uninterrupted access to a match is not guaranteed.
3. Play fairly and respect others
When using the Service, you must not:
- Harass, threaten, exploit, or discriminate against others, or share someone’s private information without permission.
- Post unlawful content, sexual content involving minors, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
- Cheat, exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage, manipulate rankings or credits, or use unauthorized automation to disrupt play.
- Impersonate another person, steal accounts or invitation credentials, or evade access restrictions or moderation.
- Distribute malware, attack the Service, bypass security controls, or interfere with other players’ connections.
- Collect other players’ information for spam, harassment, or other unauthorized purposes.
Report abuse or security issues to admin@streamslop.io. Include enough information to identify the issue without sending passwords or private access tokens.
4. Your content and live streams
You retain your rights to the names, messages, voice, and other content you contribute. You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the Service and make it available to its intended audience. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
Only share content you have the right to share. Your display name, avatar, gameplay, chat, and voice may be seen or heard by other participants and may appear in a streamer’s live broadcast, clips, or recordings. Do not share information in a match that you want to keep private.
You may stream and record your own gameplay, including on monetized channels, subject to these terms and the rights of other people and any third-party content. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions required for your broadcast and following the streaming platform’s rules. We do not control recordings made by other users or third-party platforms.
5. Virtual credits and army packs
The current Service uses mock Slop Credits. No real money is charged through the current store. Credits, pack selections, and amounts described as supporting a streamer are game features; they are not money, cash payouts, or a promise of earnings.
Credits and virtual items have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money or traded outside the features we provide. A pack selection is not a promise of permanent ownership or continued availability. We may rebalance or reset mock balances, packs, progress, and rankings as the game develops or to correct errors or abuse.
If we introduce paid features, their prices and applicable payment terms will be presented before a purchase. Nothing in these terms limits refund or other consumer rights that applicable law requires.
6. The game and its materials
The Service’s software, artwork, audio, branding, and other materials belong to their respective owners or licensors. Subject to these terms, you may access and use the Service for its intended purposes. No other rights to those materials are granted except where a separate license applies.
Do not redistribute or sell game assets, or present the Service or its branding as your own. Open-source components and separately licensed materials remain subject to their own licenses. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact admin@streamslop.io with a description, its location, and your contact information.
7. Third-party services and privacy
Sign-in providers, embedded streams, and other external services have their own terms and privacy practices. Your use of those services is subject to their terms. Stream Slop is independently operated and is not endorsed by Twitch, Kick, or Google.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information, including account information, cookies, gameplay, and voice data.
8. Changes, moderation, and termination
Stream Slop is under active development. Features, rules, balance, and availability may change. Maintenance, bugs, or connection failures may interrupt matches or result in lost progress. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service.
We may remove content or restrict, suspend, or end access when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these terms, protect users or the Service, or comply with law. You can contact admin@streamslop.io to ask us to review a restriction.
You can stop using the Service at any time. To request deletion of your account information, follow the privacy request instructions. Signing out alone does not delete your records. Terms that by their nature must continue, including ownership, liability, and dispute provisions, survive the end of your use.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, secure, or free of errors, or that other users will always follow the rules.
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits or business opportunities. This does not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or anything that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any mandatory consumer protections you have still apply.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, except where the mandatory laws of your place of residence provide otherwise. Nothing here removes your right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.
If a problem arises, you may contact admin@streamslop.io so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us is not a condition of exercising a legal right. If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
11. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms and will post the revised version here with a new date. For material changes, we will provide a prominent notice through the Service before they take effect, except when an immediate change is needed for legal or security reasons. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by law. Where separate agreement is required, we will request it.
12. Contact
For questions about these terms, reports, or legal requests, contact Stream Slop at admin@streamslop.io. We are based in Massachusetts, United States.
